If youโre a fan of Marie Kondo, youโll understand the importance of purging and organizing at the beginning of the year. Iโve been doing that with my brain over the past few days.
There are many benefits to the process of taking things out of a space, taking a look at them and then deciding if you want to keep them. It clears out the old to make room for the new.
๐ฏ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐?
This is where you clean out your brain.
You just take everything out and look at whatโs in it.
You put your thoughts on paper, examine the thoughts in your head with care and attention and decide what to put back in.
You put in only the thinking you want to do on purpose.
You put back only the thoughts that are deliberate and intentional.
Itโs the discipline and practice of watching yourself think and managing your thoughts.
If you donโt look at whatโs inside your brain itโs like leaving your operating system on default. You make no adjustment and live on auto pilot.
Hereโs how you super think:
โ๏ธ Watch yourself think and write everything down - be honest, donโt censor yourself
โ๏ธ Look at your thoughts and question those you donโt like
โ๏ธ Access your own wisdom to create new beliefs you want to think on purpose
When you put your goals together for 2022, did you give your brain the chance to offer you its wisdom?
Did you have the music and the TV off or did you have distractions?
Did you structure your goal based on what you wanted or what you think you should want?
Even if you only make 30 minutes for it, I encourage you to super think into your 2022 goals. Revisit them if you want. There's no rush. Create quiet time for you, your brain and your heart to listen. There's a lot of wisdom in there.
