From Feedback Overwhelm to a Clearer Fit

The founders of a purpose-driven brand had been conducting one-on-one interviews with customers but found themselves at a standstill.

The Starting Point

The founders of a purpose-driven brand had been conducting one-on-one interviews with customers but found themselves at a standstill. They had plenty of information, but were unsure how to turn that feedback into clear, actionable direction for their product development and messaging. Describing themselves as “at a crossroads,” they were eager to refine how they spoke to their neurodivergent niche audience—and needed help distilling their learning into something meaningful.

The Route We Took

We began by zooming out: who exactly did they need to hear from, and how could we create a conversation that honored the lived experience of their customers?

Together, we designed a custom focus group experience from end to end. We selected the right mix of participants, crafted thoughtful, open-ended questions (starting with psychographic prompts to deepen persona work), and tailored the session to their niche. We also ensured the incentive strategy would support thoughtful participation.

During the live group, I facilitated with curiosity and presence—following the energy of the conversation, diving deeper into moments of insight, and creating space for authenticity. The client team was free to listen deeply while I held the room.

Moving Forward with New Clarity

My client left with authentic, emotionally resonant feedback on brand sentiment, product updates, messaging clarity, and key assumptions about their customer personas.

They didn’t just hear what their audience thought—they understood why. With that insight, they found the clarity and confidence they needed to move forward. Their next steps were grounded in truth, not guesswork.
